The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the Index Numbers of 2023 WASSCE (NovDec) Private Candidates. Candidates who are preparing for the WASSCE for Private Candidates are advised to check their Index numbers on the official site of WAEC.
How to check the Index Number for 2023 WASSCE for Private Candidates
- Go to CHECK MY INDEX NUMBER
- On the site, enter your registration voucher number
- Click on “fetch index sheet” to access your index number.
- Do well to write down your index number or screen short it or save the page with all the details on your phone or desk top.
We advise that all candidates print it out. To do so click on the print icon of the page to save it on your computer as PDF or print it out.
The 2023 WASSCE (NovDec) Index Numbers is an important ID for you. Do not forget it or leave it home when going to the exam centre.

Following the release of the index numbers will be the release of the WASSCE for Private Candidates (Nov/Dec) examination center where candidates will be writing their re-sit examination.

- Click on “click here for admission notice” link.
- On the next stage, if you see the warning, click on ignore warming to proceed with it.
- In the new window, fill in your index number or invoice code and click on continue to view.
- Click print to print it out or save as PDF on your computer or mobile device.
