These are the steps for online academic and residential registration for all freshmen to the University of Ghana. The residential and academic portals will be accessible to students who have made half payment of their academic fees.
Before you can register, you must pay the necessary minimum fee. 50% of the academic fee, which is detailed in the Schedule of Fees, is the required minimum for the academic year 2023-2024.
For online registration, you’ll need your undergraduate student ID number and five-digit UG PIN. Please consult your provisional admission letter if you don’t have them.
Additionally, you must activate the UG-assigned email account (the email address and the initial default password are listed in your letter of provisional admission). The email account is activated by logging in and selecting your preferred password.
Note that you will need to complete your actual course registration after Orientation (Keep an eye out for dates and location for Freshmen Orientation).
