Following the massive disgracing failure of trained teachers in the just released GTLE, a cross section of educators are calling for the exam to be amended or completely eradicated licensure exams.

Why the GTLE must be amended or completely eradicated
1 . It has paved way for an increased bribery and corruption in addition to what we already have in the education sector, as those who failed are now being tasked to pay money for what is called “upgrading”
2.It shows how disrespect such initiative has been to educational universities and colleges of education. It tells you lecturers over there don’t actually know what they are doing so graduands need to sail through another milestone before being employed as teachers which is not even assured.
3. It has also served as an avenue for generating funds for this good for nothing government for their political amusements. People still fail and still made to pay another 150gh for what is called resit .. this is a clear business these people are doing no doubt.
4. This thing has been used as a benchmark to cut down employment as far as teacher intake is concern. Even though some people have sailed through without the Ntc but still shall be made to participate aftermath.
5. It is such a great misplaced priority as exams conducted is not in the interest or the area of specialization of applicants. Even though I overheard a new format , Provided it will be applicable is what is yet to be seen.
